Attorney Profiles

Mr. Dorocke has served as real estate and corporate counsel to clients in the development and financing of real property projects throughout the United States.

Mr. Dorocke has served as counsel to Simon Property Group with respect to the development and financing of numerous high-profile shopping centers, including Circle Centre Mall and Mall of America, among others. Mr. Dorocke also has served as outside counsel to Simon Property Group with respect to the lease of air rights from the City of Indianapolis for construction of their new world headquarters in downtown Indianapolis. Mr. Dorocke has closed numerous complex, multi-million dollar transactions on behalf of entities affiliated with Simon Property Group and has negotiated numerous "Big Box" and Department Store Leases on behalf of Simon Property Group.

Mr. Dorocke also has represented banks in documenting commercial loan transactions and real estate related "work out" transactions.

Mr. Dorocke has served as counsel to the City of Indianapolis on numerous projects, including the Anthem headquarters building project and the acquisition and redevelopment of property along the Indianapolis downtown canal and other commercial and residential redevelopment projects in Indianapolis. 

Mr. Dorocke recently has served as company counsel to the seller of a steel mill in central Indiana, and also represented the new owner of a synthetic gas production facility in Terre Haute, Indiana.
